To secure your booking a minimum of the first nights' deposit is needed.  In some cases we may ask for more than one nights' deposit. Please check with the hostel before making this payment. Remember that cancellations must be made 7 days before check-in date to receive a full refund.

1. Why are the prices on this page higher than on your Prices page?

- Payment by credit card includes a surchage which reflects the additional cost we carry. You must pay a deposit of at least one night's stay in order to reserve your bed. If you are reserving for a longer period we may ask for a larger deposit which should be paid in advance for bookings by credit card/Paypal. The remainder of your stay may be paid when you get here. 

2. Do I need a Paypal Account?

- A Paypal account will be created for you as part of the process. You don't need to have an existing account.  

3. Why Paypal?

- We have chosen Paypal as it has a good reputation for being fast, secure and reliable. By using Paypal, BAIT Hostel is able to keep our prices low.

4. Is it secure?

- Yes, PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won't receive your sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. This way, you don't have to worry about paying people you don't know. 

5. What happens if I cancel my booking?

- Bookings that are cancelled with 7 days notice (by phone or email) will be refunded 100%.  

6. I don't have a credit card or Paypal account, how can I reserve a room.

- We also accept Western Union money transfers or deposits paid in person, contact us for the details.
