I stayed in BAIT last august (2009) and I am writing this review to thank all of the BAIT crew: all the people working at the reception desk were helpfull, nice, always gave great advice on where to go, how and when. I would like to thank Melvin in particular... because he made our stay truely special!! You can't imagine how great this guy is... he will organize crazy nights out, cook for you and other guests delicious food, tell you everything about Baires and make you feel at home immediately.
I stayed there with my boyfriend, we had a very cozy room on the first floor with lots of light, the shared bathroom was always kept clean and we loved every minute of our stay. The hostel is located in the best, safest, most fashionable part of town.
But it is the atmosphere at BAIT that makes it so special, and i really recommend staying there. We travelled for 2 months in LatAm, stayed in many hostels and met many people, and BAIT was truely one of our best experience. Thanks again! ;-) Besos

Quería agradecerles a todos los chicos de BAIT por el hospedaje que nos dieron en tan cálido lugar. Frente al fin de semana lluvioso que nos tocó no pudimos mas que pasar el tiempo ahí dentro y fue como estar en nuestros propios hogares, sintiendonos parte de cada lugar y cómodos con cada cosa. Gracias, y nos veremos pronto porque ya estamos planeando el regreso a Buenos Aires. (Espero que se haya aclarado lo de la cerveza)

a great place to return to at the end of a long day...
i stayed at Bait in early March and can't say enough about what an awesome time i had. as i'm in my early 30s, i was apprehensive about staying in a hostel, but Bait was not your typical "party" hostel. there was always time for socializing, however, and i met some really great people of all ages from all over the world. the hostel has an outdoor area as well as a cozy common area with a bar, tv, internet, kitchen, dining area, and space for socializing, etc. the location was perfect and the staff was extremely friendly, warm and accommodating. i would highly recommend bait to anyone travelling solo or in groups. i miss it!

Thanks for everything BAIT (!), stayed here for 9 nights at the end of december. Both the city and the hostel were great, the staff showed us x-mas the argentinian way and they could always lend a hand. Cheers!

life in bait
i had an incredible time. spent longer than i planned because of the people i met here, which entirely had to do with the hostel. there is always something happening or suggestions and palermo is the place to be in buenos aires. and that irresistible, sexy melvin. watching him work so hard every day, building up a sweat, its enough to make the ladies stay.

Sobre Bait!!!!
Bueno, que les puedo decir, escogí BAIT por internet... y descrubri el interesante lugar que era, la excelente atención, y el ambiente particular y muy divertido que tiene el hostel....….lo pasé super y lo voy a recomendar a gente que desee viajar a Buenos Aires y quiera pasarla espectacular.

This hostel is perfect. The staff is great and really helpfull! The location can't be better. The hostel is in the middle of the shopping scene and really close by the best restaurants, bars and clubs in Buenos Aires. I stayed here for more than a month and I liked to stay longer, so that's says enough.

Great place, great location...
after a few months on the road, Bait was the perfect place to stop a while and relax. The staff were really cool and after a few days there I felt like I was at home... watch a film, have a beer, read a book, have a chat with the staff or the other guests.
A few times a week, things get a bit lively and there's a party atmosphere (particularly at the weekends when groups of hot girls turn up from Mendoza!!) but other times is just great to hang out with the folks who are around. When you go out, it's right in the middle of everything in Palermo Soho so there are cool bars and clubs on every corner. I stayed for a month and I wish it could have been longer.

The best time ever!
Me encantó hospedarme en Bait, fue una muy agradable experiencia, los chicos son muy atentos y cheveres. El tiempo que estuve ahí fue muy bueno, la pasé genial. unforgettable
Para ser la primera vez fuera de mi pais, Bait no hizo que fuera dificil estar fuera de mi casa, ya que es un lugar muy comodo, agradable de ese ambiente casero, con personas muy amables, me senti realmente a gusto durante mi estadia y no creo poder encontrar otro que se le parezca. Fue como si nunca hubiera salido de mi casa, o como si todo el tiempo hubiera estado ahi; las tardes y noches que pasaba viendo TV al lado de personas tan amigables, las instrucciones y consejos que les pedia a los chicos, todas las mini platicas y charlas son recuerdos que guardare gustosa para siempre, si vuelvo a Argentina, no dudare en quedarme otra vez ahi ^-^.
